This past week I made a trip out to NYC to get a closer look at one of my all time favorite brands, David Yurman. I got a chance to tour the David Yurman townhouse and try on some amazing pieces. Needless to say, I want it all now.

This is one of my fav outfits ever... but I've gotta tell you -- as an East Coast transplant, confirmed preppy to the core, girl who loves to dress up, moving to the West Coast has been identity shock. The culture here is SO casual... I've spent the better part of the year I've been out here trying to re-figure out my style (sleek black tailored suits with pearls look out of place here when to the office folks wear linen and on the weekend when I'm used to throwing on a button down and crisp shorts, I see peasant skirts).
Trying to find somewhere in the middle -- where I don't completely lose myself (peasant skirts are just not me), finding your blog has been nothing short of an inpiration.
Love most everything you wear! Revolutionary. The best of both worlds.
